Sony has launched two new video products to cover both the recording and playback ends of the spectrum. The new flash memory based Bloggie Touch camcorder offers 1080p high definition recording as well as 360 degree panoramic videos, and the S-frame range allows for AVCHD video playback.

The Bloggie Touch has a lens attachment which enables 360 degree recording, which can then be processed by supplied software. With 8GB of internal memory plenty of clips can be recorded, with 12.8MP stills also possible. The 3″ touchscreen removes the need for an overabundance of buttons, and the built in USB should make downloading simple.

The S-frame range covers three photo frames, all of which allow for the playback of AVCHD, a HD video format used by Sony and Panasonic cameras. The range also includes a photo frame/printer combination producing postcard-sized prints from the rear.

The Bloggie Touch will be available in November, and the S-frames in October. For more information go to www.sony.co.uk, or see the full press releases.
