New Panasonic sponsored TV series 'How to Take Stunning Pictures' starts tonight on Channel Five with top celebrated photographers...

Panasonic have teamed up with Channel Five to fund a brand new instructional photography programme How To Take Stunning Pictures. Each programme in the six-part series offers expert tips and focuses on a different theme; portrait, action, celebration, landscape, holidays and animals.

The hour episodes are presented by The Gadget Show’s Suzi Perry and sees the world’s top photographers plan to teach tricks of the trade to amateur snappers.

Photography master classes will be provided by Martin Parr, famous for his unique photographs of the great British holiday; top celebrity photographer Harry Borden; award-winning wildlife photographer Tim Flach; wedding photographer of the year Emily Quinton; Sports photographer of the year Bob Martin and top landscape photographer Charlie Waite.

After learning from the best in the business, the amateur photographers will be sent on assignments to see if they can produce a truly standout image.

The series will be sponsored by Lumix, Panasonic’s range of photographic cameras and will also be available to view on Panasonic’s IPTV service Vieracast and with Channel Five’s on demand service Demand Five.

Additionally the producers have made a series of Panasonic branded short films featuring more tips on how to take stunning pictures which will be exclusively available on Panasonic and Channel Five’s websites.

The programme launches tonight at 7.30pm on Channel Five with Episode 1: Portrait. The episode will focus on celebrity photographer Harry Borden, who has photographed everyone from
Angelina Jolie to Dizzee Rascal, who offers advice on portraiture to two
novices before they are tested with assignments including taking a
photograph for the Help for Heroes charity.
