120-300mm and 150mm models launched

Sigma has accompanied the launch of it’s new SD1 DSLR with the announcement of a pair of new lenses.

The models in question are the 150mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM and the 120-300mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM.

First up is the 150mm prime lens. The medium telephoto model is well suited to macro photography and features a Sigma’s proprietary Optical Stabilisation system. The lens, a successor to the APO Macro 150mm f/2.8 EX DG HSM, also features a floating focusing system that compensates for astigmatic aberration.

The second of the new lenses is the 120-300mm f/2.8 EX DG OS HSM. The telephoto zoom lens features a weather resistant construction, as well as one SLD and two FLD glass elements for maximum correction of chromatic aberrations. The lens also features Sigma’s proprietary OS system, as well as its Hyper Sonic Motor for both quiet and high speed auto focus.
