Photoshop & RAW

I decided for the first time to take some pictures in RAW rather than JPEG. However, now I cannot open them at all!

Camera is a Canon 600D.

Canon's DPP software comes up with an error saying I need a resolution of 1024x768 or more. My computer is set to 1920x1080. So no idea here.

I have tried Photoshop (I amn using Elements 6) but that just says that the file is in the wrong format!

Sorry but elements 6 won't support raw in it's converter for a canon 600d. Your only option is either upgrade elements or get adobe's dng converter, this is a free download from adobe's site ... Graham
