Default New to forum - after an S95/S100 or something similar

Hello, I've heard great things about both the Canon S95 and S100 models, not keen on the touch display of the S110 though (which is also outside my budget). Bear in mind I wouldn't even consider myself an amateur photographer, as I just use a camera casually for days out, family occasions, etc. Are used cameras the only option if I need an S95 or S100 (as they are discontinued), and yes I do want to avoid grey imports.

My budget would be £270 new for either (if non-grey imports, UK models, are still available new anywhere) - I've only found an S100 one through John Lewis at £279.99 though I'm not a fan of the colour in this one. Is used a good route to go, if this is the case my budget would be say £170 for one of the two models in excellent condition.

    Hi and welcome.

I would go with the Canon S100 for £239 http://www.ukdigitalcameras.co.uk/di...FSHHtAodFzkAnQ It was much improved from the S95.

I'm not after a grey import, which after doing some research these evidently are.
