Manual focus fisheye Scout lens creates some stunning effects

Lensbaby has launched a new 12mm manual focus fisheye lens, dubbed the Scout with Fisheye, for the majority of the major camera manufacturers. The lens is designed to give an extreme angle of view to allow the photographer to shoot a distorted image.

Unlike the other lenses in Lensbaby’s range the Scout is fixed, and can focus up to an impressive 1.27cm away from the optic. With a 160 degree field of view and six multi-coated elements the Scout should provide an interesting variation to the usual range of lenses in your kit bag.
