For a few years, I have been using a Canon SX1 iS superzoom. I knoiw have a bit of spare cash and want to upgrade. Things I love about the camera are, of course, the zoom, plus the HD video and super macro. I have taken some fantastic pictures.
If I go to DSLR, I would need to spend a fortune on lenses to get the same level of equipment.
BUT - how good is the processor? My SX1 has a 10MP DIGIC 4 with iSAPS.
I am looking at the SX50 HS. How much better is the 12.1 megapixel high-sensitivity DIGIC 5 image processor CMOS sensor, compared to that found in the Canon D650, the 18.5MP CMOS APS-C type sensor?
