Multi-media competition commends both professional and amateur photographers

Hitachi has announced the winners of its G-Technology competition. The contest, aimed at recognising a rewarding both the aesthetic qualities and invention of creative work, awards one overall winner with a grand prize of €5,000.

The contest, which spans across several different mediums, commended both winners and runners-up in both amateur and professional categories.

The winner of the professional catergory was Ian Weir for his image titled ‘The Henley Swim’ while Richard Costin scooped the runner-up prize for his ‘Fight in a blizzard‘ image.

In the amateur category, Patty Palmtree was crowned overall winner for her image ‘Eternal‘ with the runner-up prize awarded to Rebecca Hull for her ‘Brazillian Police’ image.
