Small slr camera

Hello, can you suggest which small slr camera should I buy? I'm a novice, and I would like to buy a camera and lens for close ups and indoor use mainly. Thank you

hi of the main stream cameras canon nikon pentax and sony they are all about the same size olympus are a little smaller. to go smaller but to keep a larger senor you could look at the CSC cameras from olympus and panasonic sony and samsung. all have interchangeable lenses

what i would do is go to a camera shop and look at a few cameras the makes i have suggested all come with a standard lens which will get you started. you might want to consider a bridge camera like the new canon g15 or g1x these cameras have a fixed zoom lens which may suit you better
