2011 competition now open

Entries are now being accepted to the world’s foremost wildlife photography competition. The Veolia Environnment Wildlife Photographer of the Year is inviting photographers from around the world and of all entries to ‘reveal the natural world as it has been seen before’.

Jean Dominique-Mallet, Chief Executive Office at Veolia Environnmental Services said: “This is the third year that Veolia Environnement has sponsored this prestigious competition as we believe it embodies our own values together with our on-going commitment to corporate responsibility and sustainable development. The competition also highlights the importance of protecting the environment, conserving natural resources and the very real need to educate and inspire people of all ages.”

This year’s competition boasts a prize fund of £24,500, with the overall winner scooping a £10,000. Entries to this year’s competition are being accepted up until the deadline of 18th March 2011.
