First point & shoot, and help please?

Hi all. If someone could give me a little advice it would be much appreciated. I've never bought a camera in my life and now find myself needing one. However, I literally only have £50 for it so I know I'm not gonna get anything amazing, have read endless amounts of reviews which have just confused me more but have got it down to these 3. The Sony I've read terrible thing's about. The Fugifilm so so and the Olympus pretty good but don't think it has as many features as the previous two. Any thoughts please?

At that price point all are capabler of taking a reasonable picture. It all depends on what you do with the image afterwards that counts (see below).

And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with your camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/ to get you started. The most useful is the http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...06_Levels.html and for even more adjustment. The http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...07_Curves.html is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever

Hey Chris, cheers for the reply. I do like the look of that particular fujifilm but have been told that it's best to go with one that has optical stabalization? Now think it's gonna be one of these 4 but can't decide which... The Canon seems a bit bulky.

All of these cameras will give a reasonable image which can be improved with post processing (Have given you my blurb on post processing!).

If you want the long zoom then it's the Samsung. If you want Panorama sweep and good video then it's the Sony. Followed by the Panasonic and then the bulkier Canon.

God yeah know all about post processing having been reliant on my phones camera for so long. I don't know, canon and Samsung seem to have better specs but Sony a good size. Which would you go for?

The Sony can shoot more than 4x by lowering the resolution. You don't need 14MP for the web and small prints up to A4. I use it on my Panasonic TZ10.

Might be worth while putting the cameras in Flickr and looking at other people's images taken with them.

At that price I might go with the Sony.
