Sea life portrayed in an infinitely magnifiable image

National Geographic has found an innovative method of showing the diverse sea life on and around the island of Mo’orea. The infinite photograph allows for constant zooming, from a single creature into a mosaic of images comprised of more organisms, then onto a single creature and into another mosaic. It shows how, in the climate of an almost endless supply of digital images, there are more creative display methods than the simple slide show.
