Default Reasonably priced high speed shutter.

    Hi everyone.

I am new to this picturgraph taking forum.
Can anyone give me advice as the a decent reasonably priced camera that is
Capable of high speed photography with a good zoom.
My 11year year old son has just turned pro trampolinist and I need a camera that can meet the demands without breaking the bank? I currently have an f550 exr.

    Thanks...

    Hi and welcome.

You need something like the http://www.letsgodigital.org/en/3308...x-zr20-review/

You are aware that because most compacts have small sensors, using the zoom in poor light can be a problem. Compacts are made for good daylight. However, one can always crop the centre of the image to get a reasonable 6x4" print or web image.

And don't forget. Post processing is an important part of photography and should be used to sharpen and enhance pictures taken with any camera. If you don't have an imaging editor, then use the one in my signature below. There are 32 video tutorials to get you started. The most useful is the http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...06_Levels.html and for even more adjustment. The http://ictpublish.com/pixlr/Videoes/...07_Curves.html is a must (it's my favourite all-in-one adjuster). My Resize-Crop-Sharpen tutorial below, will get your pics ready for the internet or whatever

    Cheers!

    Thanks Chris.

My 550exr has taken a few decent pics, but I can never seem to get the manual settings the same each time. The manual says its capable of 11fps with a maximum 32 shot burst with a maximum shutter speed of 2000. Another problem is the shutter lag while the images are saving. If I shoot the first half of his routine then I miss the second half while the caera writes the images. Is there any out there with bigger bursts?

I am gonna read your guide later as he qualified for the British finals next week and need to get(well try) some good snaps..
