Which DSLR to choose

Which one Cannon 550D or Nikon 3100, are there any other alternatives

IMHO the the nikon is more of any entry level while the canon is a step up from that and so it will last you longer.
my advice as always is go and try them and remember that you are buying into a system so make sure that sytem suits your needs
