LUMIX G Micro System range expanded

Panasonic has launched the latest addition to its LUMIX G Micro System range of lenses. The new lens, the LUMIX G Leica DG Summilux 25mm / F1.4 APSH , is light-weight and based on the Micro Four Thirds standard.

The lens has being designed to meet Leica’s strict standards with regards to optical quality, with Panasonic claiming the lens will allow you to take ‘stunning photos wherever you are, even when shooting in low-light conditions’.

The 25mm lens is compact in profile and makes the Lumix G Micro System easy to carry around, whilst an Ultra High Refractive index ensures that the small size is achieved without compromising image quality.

The lens also features a new nano surface coating to cut down on flare and ghosting in your images. Finally, an inner focus direct-drive linear motor offers smooth, silent operation of the camera’s Auto Focus system.

The lens will be available in August this year, with a price to be confirmed. For more information visit Panasonic online.
