Join Amateur Photographer and What Digital Camera in association with Nikon at The Mayor’s Thames Festival – London’s largest free festival which takes place alongside and on the River Thames between Westminster Bridge to Tower Bridge and beyond.

The festival commissions new work, and transforms outdoor spaces on and around the River Thames with a vibrant mix of music, dancing, street arts, river races, carnival, pyrotechnics, art installations, massed choirs, food and feasting. The finale is a magical illuminated Night Carnival that winds along the south and north banks of the Thames, followed by a fireworks display fired from the centre of the river itself.

There are a mass of amazing photographic opportunities at this spectacular event, which runs over the whole weekend – so don’t forget to bring your camera to capture the scene and bring the festival alive in a photograph! Enter your best shots into the Thames Festival’s photo competition for your chance to Nikon D7000 kit worth £1299.99!!
