The team behind Travel Photographer of the Year (TPOTY) competition has teamed up with a host of leading photographers, TV personalities and intrepid explorers in the forthcoming TPOTY festival.

The festival, which will take place on three Sundays over the next four weeks, is being held at the Royal Geographical Society in central London. The festival begins this Sunday, 25th September, with a day titled ‘Exploring Photography and Travel’ which will feature talks from personalities including award-winning photographer Steve Bloom and BBC video journalist Michelle Jana Chan.

The second day of the festival takes place on the following Sunday, 2nd October. The day, titled ‘Wild Day’, will feature talks from renowned landscape photographer David Noton and aerial photographer Jason Hawkes amongst many others.

The final day in the festival takes place on Sunday 16th October and is titled ‘People and Cultures’ day, featuring the BBC’s ‘Human Planet’ producer Dale Templar and TPOTY found Chris Coe taking to the stage alongside a host of noted speakers.

Each day of the festival runs from 9.30 – 16.30 with tickets priced at £55 per day, with both students and RGS members able to purchase reduced price tickets of £40 per day. Three-day tickets are available prices £140 and £108 for standard and concessions respectively.
