Nikon D800 rumours

With the excellent full-frame Nikon D700 almost four years old, there’s been mounting rumours about its replacement. In the past few months there have been a number of images leaked of what appears to be a mystery Nikon DSLR – it even appeared on some Nikon websites for a brief period earlier this month.

Similar in size and shape to the D700 with subtle design differences, many people expect this (see picture above) to be the full-frame Nikon D800. Check out Nikon Rumors to see for yourself.

Nikon Rumors also claims to have some pretty firm specs for the Nikon D800 as well. This includes a 36MP full-frame chip, 100% coverage viewfinder, improved AF, dual card slots and sensitivity from ISO 100-6400 that can be expanded to 50-25,600.
