Another what camera should I buy thread, sorry.

Hi, I'm in need of a new camera. It needs to be a compact (so it can fit in my pocket ).
I'm looking to spend around £250 give or take. It will be mainly for travelling.
Basically, I would like it to have: Manual and Auto controls, so I can have a play.
Good for low light situations.
Have 1080p recording, though I would sacrifice this if there is a camera that is worth it.

I have been looking at the Canon Ixus 230HS Which has a great review on this site and the Fujifilm F600 EXR also looks good. Any thoughts or other recommendations?

Any help, would be highly appreciated, ta.
