Hi,

I'm looking to purchase a DSLR camera but would like some advice as my requirements are a little bit outside the normal. I work permanent nights at a very rural location, that is abundant in flora and fauna and wish to purchase a camera and equipment that will help me get the best shots I can.

The area is totally unlit and so some sort of flash or night imagery would be necessary, a fast frame rate would be an advantage for some of the animals and birds. I would probably need to look for a couple of lenses as carrying a large bag would be prohibitive, so I think a large zoom, a standard and possibly a macro.

Any advice, particularly from people familiar with this sort of environment and conditions, would be welcome.
