    Default Nikkor 70/300 to Nikon D3100

    Hi
    could anyone please advise if the Nikon AF Nikkor 70/300 lens from my old Nikon f55 slr film camera, will work with the Nikon D3100 dslr which i am considering purchasing.

    Hi Kev. Perhaps you could contact Nikon direct on www.nikon.co.uk who will I'm sure give you the correct answer. I could only have a guess which is no good to you, straight from the horses mouth is what is best. All the best, Mike.

    Hi Kev.
    Yes it will work but it wont auto focus. You may also, have to switch to manual mode...graham
