    Default Bigma or Canon

    Has anyone views on either the Sigma 50-500 OS lense or the Canon 100-400 to be used for mainly airshows.Any thoughts would be gratefully received.

    I would definitely recommend the Sigma, the OS version is quality and if you are using it with an APS-C format SLR the Sigma lens would be the equivalent of around 75-750mm which is perfect if your subject is far like in your case.

    I've become quite a fan of the 100-400 - but I've not shot with the Bigma.

    Go and try both I am sure a shop will do that after all a sale is a sale for them
