A device used to reflect light back into the scene, typically to help fill in shadows. Usually round and collapsible in design, reflectors come in a variety of finishes to create different effects. The most common type is white as this reflects all wavelengths of light equally, although gold and silver versions are also available for respectively warmer and cooler reflections.
