Oh dear I hear it again, but I've found out that a good way to find what you're after is to trawl through the pages of the WDC magazine and in the May issue pages 106-110 carry just about every compact you can think of, plus comments on each one. They range from £300 to £1300, so perhaps you could be in luck. Happy hunting!.
