The announcement of the Nikon 1 V2 has significantly reduced the price of its predecessor - the Nikon 1 V1

We’re used to seeing the price of cameras drop when a replacement for an older model is released, but we were surprised to find out the Nikon 1 V1 can now be bought for £540 less than when it was launched twelve months ago.

Logging onto Groupon’s mobile app this morning we discovered the Nikon 1 V1 can be picked up for as little as £299. This significant reduction in price is a limited offer and ties in with the news of Nikon’s latest compact system camera release – the Nikon 1 V2 this morning.

You might think the £299 price is for a body only Nikon 1 V1 but it includes the NIKKOR 1 10-30mm kit lens, making it one of the most affordable compact system cameras offers currently available.

The 36% discount deal on the Nikon 1 V1 is running for a limited time and will end in two days.
