I've had a Panasonic Lumix FZ20 for a few years now and I've been very happy with it, but I feel it's time to update. I'd been intending to upgrade to the FZ38, but now the FZ45 and FZ100 have arrived on the scene.

Great, I'll just get one one the new ones, I thought. But looking at a few reviews, I get the impression that the 45 and 100 do not offer any advance in image quality - indeed it was suggested by one reviewer that the FZ45 is a step backwards in this respect. Both of the new ones, however, do have a more powerful zoom.

Does anyone have experience of these cameras? Any advice on which of the three represents the best buy? Your comments would be most welcome.
