hi
i need advice on what camera would best suit my needs. i am a complete novice and i am looking to photograph wildlife and sporting events. i dont have a very big budget (£500) so secondhand equipment might be the answer. PLEASE HELP!

From what you have said long fast lens coms to mind and thats not cheap. You would be looking at a boby and a Kit lens plus something in the order of a 70-300 2.8 lens for that work. you could try a canon sx30is it is super zoom. But as I said before to get the best results DSLR and a Long lens
