Hello, just joined the site! I've really started to get interested in photography lately, using a Canon EOS 300 (old, I know). Recently, (well OK, since yesterday) I've been trying my hand at light art.

The problem is, I was taking a shot today with a Canon S50 Powershot, and it dropped straight onto the floor. The zoom lens is now bent, and I cannot get it to go back in. It's kaput.

Does anyone know of any cameras which would be a suitable alternative? Digital, compact, with good quality and that allows me to set the shutter speed and aperture manually (as well as macro, landscape and portrait modes). The budget is from £150 (maybe £200, with a stretch). If a tripod could be attached, it would be even better.
