Kodak M550 or M531 please help.

I got a really good deal on a kodak m531 and a kodak m550 the seller will give me the same price on both, I just can decide which one is better, the m550 is 12M pixel with a 28-140mm WIDE lens, 5X zoom and 1600 maximum ISO, the m531 is a 14M pixel with 36-108mm lens, 3X zoom and 1000 maximum iso, it is also a little bit more compact. I'm do not know much about digital cameras and photography, the camera will be used for everyday picture taking, below I will post the links to the specification, thanks in advance for the help.

Hmm, have you considered looking at brands other than kodak?
