Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4.4 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.4 are available to download now

Adobe has released Photoshop Lightroom 4.4 and Adobe Camera Raw 7.4. Adobe Photoshop Lightroom and Adobe Camera Raw 7.4 are intended to provide additional camera raw support alongside support for several new lens profiles within the Lens Corrections tab. The new releases will also address bugs that were previously noted in the earlier releases of Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Lightroom and corrections to the demosaicing algorithms for previously supported Fujifilm X-Trans and EXR sensor cameras are also included.

There is also support for 25 additional cameras, including the Nikon D7100, Canon EOS 100D, Fujifilm X100s and Sony SLT-A58. Whilst customers of previous versions of Adobe Photoshop also have the ability to utilize DNG Converter 7.4 for raw file support for newly added cameras.

Adobe Camera Raw and Adobe Lightroom are final versions of updates that were originally posted as ‘release candidates’ on the Adobe Labs site which can be downloaded now. Camera Raw 7.4 is now available as a final release through the update mechanism in Photoshop CS6 and Lightroom 4.4 is now available as a final release on Adobe.com and through the update mechanism in Lightroom 4. Lightroom 4.4 is available as a free download for Lightroom 4 customers, and the Camera Raw plug-in is available as a free download for Photoshop CS6 customers. Both are available for Mac and Windows.
