Basically I know nothing about digital cameras and need to buy for an upcoming trip for a year to Australia, I was told by a friend not to buy one with the zoom that comes out of the front because it doesn't mix to well with sand!! And his broke a few times, I'd like something small ish, and stylish if possible any help would be much appreciated.
