Default Just bought a Nikon D90!

:...............With the obligatory 18-105 VR lens and a Tamron 70-300, now i've just got to learn how to get the best out of it!

I've also got the 'Nikon D90 for Dummies' guide, but am i smart enough to understand it?

    Hi

That was my first DSLR too. And if I have to be honest... It was great decision. There is a lot of knowladge you have to gain but after that it will be superb. Best part of all is that you will be dicovering new things every time you will be on a "photo walk". It is over 1,5 year and I am still fascinated about that camera.

Know what you mean Jud about learning. Can I recomend the excellent book by SIMON STAFFORD called The Magic Lantern Guide to the D90. I bought one of these for my D300 and it's just brilliant the way it's written. This man is simply amazing and is a Nikon specialist. I bought my book from Grays of Westminster, tel;020 7828 4925. All the best.
