Samsung announces the 10mm f3.5 fisheye lens for their NX systems, claiming to be the smallest and slimmest on the market.

Samsung has just announced its new 10mm f/3.5 ultra wide lens, capable of capturing 180 degree field of view. It also claims to be the lightest, at only 72g, smallest and slimmest, being “half the weight and size of its competitors”. Its light, slimline design makes it easy to carry around as an additional lens, which is perfect for photographers looking to expand their creativity.

The new lens is compatible with the NX
system of Compact System Cameras, which includes the highly regarded new NX300. The lens’ ultra-wide fisheye perspective
will allow photographers to create sprawling landscapes and distorted portrait images.

The lens
comes with a number of iScene options, including Beauty Shot, Portrait,
Night, Backlight, Children and Sports. The 10mm F3.5 Fisheye
is also fitted with a Circular Aperture Diaphragm to bring the subject
of your images front and centre.

The Samsung 10mm F3.5 Fisheye Lens is available in white or black to complement
the NX series of cameras, and will be on sale in the UK later
this year, however the price is yet to be announced at the time of
writing.
