Adobe Photoshop and Premiere amongst updated applications

Adobe has announced the latest update to its Creative Cloud (CC) suite of applications.

Adobe’s Creative Cloud update for Mac OS, Windows, iOS and Android is sure to benefit all levels of photographers and creative types by allowing them to store, publish and share their files more easily and efficiently.

The update includes more than 30 tools and services that enable content creation and delivery across all the mediums of print, web, mobile apps, video and photography. The update also enables the next generation of 15 Adobe desktop applications including: Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Illustrator CC.

The underlying question is; what are the benefits for photographers in the latest update of Adobe’s Creative Cloud?

Photoshop and Camera Raw CC

The major updates to Photoshop CC include new sharpening technologies and designer workflow enhancements. The Camera-Shake Reduction detracts the blurring of images and the innovative Smart Sharpen allows texture and detail of images to stand out much more.

Camera Raw 8 also adds stronger photographic controls to develop, perfect and touch-up photographs.

Photoshop CC and Illustrator CC are the first applications which allow artistic individuals to post, showcase and receive feedback on their creations through Behance – the world’s leading online creative community website. Behance’s alliance with Adobe’s Creative Cloud gives creative types the opportunity to gain online and global exposure by getting their work recognised.

David Wadhwani – senior vice president at Digital Media Adobe – says, “With even more great updates coming to Creative Cloud throughout the year, we can’t wait to see the incredible work our customers are going to deliver”.

The upgrade is now available to buy on Adobe’s dedicated Creative Cloud website. Existing Creative Cloud members who own CS3 or later, can save 40% by joining before July 31st and there are also individual, education, team, government and enterprise membership plans available on Adobe’s website.
