Early
adopters take note: Fujifilm has recalled the latest X-Pro1 firmware,
released on July 23, after reports of it causing malfunctions in the
camera’s video functionality

In
a statement on its website, Fujifilm apologised for the
error. ‘The phenomenon that a movie could not be recorded properly in
some cases has found in the firmware version 3.00,’ it said.

If
you’ve downloaded the faulty X-Pro1 firmware, head over to the
Fujifilm site
to download version 3.01, which should correct the
problem.
