New Galaxy Camera and Tablet amongst range of rumoured new products

The ‘Samsung PREMIERE 2013′ event takes place this evening in London, with a host of new and exciting products due to be announced.

There have been rumours and speculations circulating online about a new Samsung Galaxy camera to be amongst the products announced.

Ian Burley, founder and editor of DPNOW commented on these rumours surrounding a new camera, stating that “… my personal favourite is that the Samsung Galaxy smartphone/tablet and Samsung NEX compact system camera divisions have got together to produce a NEX camera with an Android user interface”.

Burley continued that this is just speculation at this stage and will be posting live from the exhibition tonight with some firm information.

The international event kicks off at 7pm in the Earl’s Court Exhibition Centre. The event is media invite only, however Samsung is providing a live video stream of the event on YouTube, which you’ll be able to follow below:

The Samsung Galaxy Camera was the first to offer the full Android operating system along with 3G connectivity, and impressed us to such a degree that we awarded it innovation of the year last year. As a result, we eagerly look forward to seeing what Samsung might have up its sleeve with regards to the Galaxy Camera range.
