Nikon 18-105vr or third party lens

HI iv just got a d3000 body only was thinking of buying a 18-105vr am sure i read a review there was other lenses of that size better tamron or sigma or should i just stick to getting the nikon 18-105 thanks

hi, i am very happy with my 18-105 DX ED VR SWM Asperical IF nikon nikkor
for me it is a ideal size , not too heavy but also not to bad in quality , some say that only the new 18-200 vr II is better but it also cost a heck more and i have tried one but was not happy , then i saw a clearance stock add of a photo dealer and snapped me a 18-105.

There is nothing wrong with sigma or tamron but i like to keep glass the same brand AS the body.

i also have sigma and tamron glass for my D50 or D80 but i lke the colours that nikon has , and the fact that i need VR due to a small problem and neither the sigma nor the tammy got OS or VC
