HD Video Very good on 3Ds
I was blessed with a go on the Nikon 3ds last night, and i was blown away with quality, i checked the ISO ranges out and it really is superb.
I then used the video function, and i can assure you, that i beats any hd prosumer camera out there by miles....i was blown away...amazed...its really re-assuring when you use it and, you feel like james Cameron after a few minutes...great stuff...
Now i just have to find 4k to buy one...lol
seriously though, that camera is a monster, and it just oozes performance and build quality.
10/10 for me but would of given it 1000/1000 if those ratings applied..
Nikon have a very sacred secret, an area 51 of the camera world, what they are making shows..

I've got a D3 and the quality of the images at high ISO's really do just blow you away.

What precisely is the difference between 10/10 and 1000/1000? They're both 100%.

It's the amount of noughts, it means good things to some people. Kinda like the most numbers of pixels they can cram in on a tiny sensor.

Gave me a chuckle anyway, Shaun.
Must say I love the video quality you can get from current DSLRs - 5D II in my case, but whatever the camera, it opens up a whole new world.

Yeah i was torn with the gh1 or my pentax...i went pentax..but to be honest its mickey mouse in comparison to the d3s/5d/7d/gh1...mind you..its still usable..its way better then buying both hd cam and slr, and its better then my panasonic hdc hs 100 and that was 800 on its own...lol.

I'll second the comments about high ISO performance. I had the privilege of taking it out for a few evenings while it was in for testing and it's phenomenal. Such a treat to feel comfortable shooting at ISO 12,800. And handheld where you would normally use a tripod.
