Hi all,
I'm an Amateur photographer with a capital A.
However, I would like some feedback on the photo's i have taken so far, there arnt many in my flickr site.
I've been strugling with exposure, so any top tips would be great.

Nothing to much wrong there, although with shots like 'the explorer' you could try taking a meter reading off the sand and use AE lock, then revert back to the scene to take the shot.
Another thing you always have to remember is that black skin requires a little more exposure to bring out the features.

thanks for the advice. I posted somthing a little while ago about help with dark skin. I take a lot of shots of my girl friends 8yo son playing football, his football strip is bring orange and i struggle to get detail in his face with the brighnes of the football top. I've managed to get better using trial and error!!

Yes, there are some very good pictures there. Agree with other comments. Try dialling in a little + exposure compensation. Also, if you're close enough, you could try using flash in FP mode to get better face illumination in daylight. If your g'friends son is any distance away, it might be too far for flash.
I think you have a good eye for photography. There is feeling in your pictures and those who can convey this always make more interesting photographers.
