D200 focusing screen removal
      #678654 - 14/07/2008 19:17

I took my camera out at the weekend and whilst tracking a slow-moving steam traction engine an ENORMOUS insect flew into the frame. It took a second to realise it was on the focusing screen and, it appears, on the inside. Looking at the camera the screen looks easily removable but given the presence of electronic focusing aids and grid lines I don't want to dive in without knowing what I might expect.

If it's a slightly tricky job I'm happy to get it sent off to be sorted... any recommendations? Mail order or walk-in in the Reading area? It's clean enough but I'd rather not have a dead insect in there.
