Could you spare some time...
      #674999 - 05/07/2008 16:15

Hi all!

I know this is cheeky for my first post, but if anyone has a few minutes to check the appearance, navigation, ease of use, speed, ect.. of my upgraded Travel Photography website and give comments / critiques, it would be much appreciated!

It's hard when designing a website to get it looking good on all monitor sizes, resolutions, web browsers ect..

Cheers!

Looks nice in Firefox. The animated header slows things down a bit, which can be frustrating when you want to check out lots of pages, but apart from that it's very nice.

Put your prices up.

Site runs smoothly with IE7 & looks good. Can't fault the photography - gorgeous images

Prints & prices... I'd like to see a bit more info on just what you get for your money. I presume they are not limited editions? Thinking maybe you should reserve some of them for sale as limited signed editions, and charge more for them.
What kind of printer is used? Are the prints matte, gloss, watercolour paper? Are the prints supplied rolled in a tube? Mounted with backing board? These are questions I'd ask before reaching for my credit card, as compared to a lot of other sites, the prices are quite high.

Price is a tricky issue - personally I think they're about right, but the problem is that every man and his dog has a website offering prints these days, so it's a buyers market.
Believe in your work & don't sell yourself too cheap...

Good luck.

As you're using Canon kit, how could you fail?

maybe some information on where and when the pictures where taken? or split the images into relevant groups (getting rid of gallery 1-2-3 etc etc)

then having the location as the gallery title and the date taken?

then when the user clicks to see more pictures there is a little into to the section at the top?

apart from that its really good site well done
