Love the picture of the Lister train - I used to work in Dursley, Glos, where Listers are based. Fond memories of people doing sponsored endurance events on a Lister Autotruck!

Excellent place.
One of our best days out was when we visited them on their Industrial Engines Day last April. There's so much to see!

First class place for a visit so much to see and lots of photo opportunities. I might even be able to get there myself although I am going in September with some photographically focused friends. I.e. Canon owners.

I have enjoyed this museum a lot in the past. Haven't been for a few years now so I really could be tempted to attend this. I have a 1930s Lister engine tucked away somewhere.

I only live 20 minutes from Amberley Museum, so may pay it a visit - been there loads of times before.

Didn't one of the 1980s James Bond films feature scenes filmed at the Chalk Pits museum; at the entrance to the tunnel? I think it was the one with Grace Jones in it. The 'mine' was exploding as an escape in an airship was underway.

"View To A Kill" was the Bond film.Roger Moore played Bond,Christopher Walken as Max Zorin and Grace Jones as May Day.Just as an aside, the loco's due to used in the film had different length exhausts!Apparently due to filming being done at different locations.
