It is going to depend on how bad the scratch appears. There are scratch removal kits available online but they are expensive and can take quite a lot of effort to show results. If you have a scratch that is very deep at all, you can forget a scratch kit.
The glass in these scanners is not particularly special. You just need a piece of high quality float glass without bubbles or scratches. I have put up some exploded diagrams for a few scanners here which might help you take your scanner apart if you go that route:

Thanks for your advice. The scratch is deep. I was affraid the glass is special, with some coating as the lenses are to reduce flare etc. But even so, removing the scanner's shell isn't an easy job as the screws seem to be hidden very well. Tell me plese how to remove the "165" buttons to reach the screws. I've tried once with no succes (with a thinny screwdriver) but leaving an ugly mark. Does the "V" shaped button need a special tool? Should I unscrew it prior ? Thank you for diagram!

Take a piece of duct tape and really press/seal it all across the surface of the cap. Then pull up. It should pop out.
