Not sure if this is the right place but have been getting web server time out errors on occasions over the last week or so. Has anyone else?

It's possible that things will improve for a week or so but then the Destroyer gets back from his hols...

This place does seem to have more than its fair share of gremlins but is still worth being at (IMO) for the advice, opinions and general craic.

Don't you just hate that!

I've resorted to something I used to do in the days of dial-up, writing posts in Notepad then C&P'ing them on the forum.

Well, yes, whatever that means...

Must say I've not really looked at Facebook for ages for that very reason.

After an all to brief flirtation with reliability and speed the forum seems to be even worse now than it was before. Right now I'm typing this into a reduced graphic page, the time bar is stuck on 4 units and doubtless it will crash out as soon as I try to advance any further.

While I appreciate that the site is popular and that we don't have to pay for it I would say that it's in AP/IPC's best interest to sort these access problems out ASAP or member will go elsewhere...

Guess what........ it did crash out again though I see the last post got through.

It's just taken 5 attempts to get in and again I'm seeing a corrupted page. This is getting beyond a joke...........

Totally agree. Today has been intolerable.

Despite being a wee bit slow at the back-end of lunchtime (1300), this is my third visit to the site today and I've not experienced any difficulties.

Was that a play-off? I thought the leagues were finished?

Yes, L**ds lost the first leg at home to Carlisle. I'm not sure when the second leg is but Carlisle have the best home record in the league so it's an uphill battle for the country's favourite Harold Shipman lookilikie.
