Not really a criticism, as it was otherwise a good article. Just a pity that diffraction was spelt defraction in a technical piece! Sorry - can't remember the author, as I've thrown the mag away. Good issue - I'd read it from cover to cover, and some articles twice!

"I've thrown the mag away."
You felt THAT strongly about it?

Yes, I threw it away. I don't keep them all - have been a subscriber for years, and a regular reader since 1963! If I kept them I'd have no room in my flat for me!!! Lots of interesting AP's, though!

On a serious note, why note recycle it at your local doctor/dentist surgery or barber shop? Far better recycled that way first before being recycle down the tip.

I think that actually throwing anything away these days gets you a £200 fine. All mine go into a blue bag (for life) for recycling.

When I said "threw it away" I meant into a recycling bin! However, giving them to a doctor's surgery is a better idea, then others could have the unbounded pleasure that AP affords without having to pay for it! Seriously, I often put them into my school library (boys, 7-13), but not if they have nudes in. You know what boys are like!!!

Yes I do. I recall a well thumbed page of the Encyclopedia Britannica in the school library... a plate of a Rubens. Marvellous.
