Hi
Iam looking for suggestions for a lightweight pouch / bag for my D300. I already have a Domke F2 but want something simple I can just stuff the camera in and go (or use a cover when carrying the camera in my day sac - could use a stuff sack I suppose).
thanks
Matt

Kata H-14 holster? I use one of these with a Canon 5D + 24-105 f/4L, I carry a Tamron 90mm f/2.8 macro in one of the side pockets and the waterproof cover, spare batteries etc. in the other. Should be plenty big enough for your D300 with a "standard" or short tele zoom lens, plus a few extras.

Lowepro do a great little case for about £15, or even less from 7dayshop. Fits a small SLR with standard lens. If you are near a branch of Jacobs try them, certainly the main London branch in New Oxford Street is very good for bags of this sort.

I've crammed my D300 in the Lowepro TLZ (top loader zoom) 20 that fitted my D50 so well, unfortunately it's a little too snug and it's difficult to get out quickly so the next size up would probably be more ideal, these style of holster bags are pretty cheap on Amazon, go and have a look on Lowepro's site.
Edit: A quick look for you Matt shows the TLZ1 http://www.amazon.co.uk/Lowepro-Topload-...boutThisProduct To be an ideal fit for the D300 with a lens up to the 18-200 (and therefore probably your Sigma too)

Hi
THanks for the suggestions - I bought Lowepros TLZ2 which takes camera and walk-around lens or macro which is useful,

I have one of these Fen. The AW cover was attached by an elastic strip inside the plastic zipped pocket within the front pocket. It seemed such a strange way to do it I assumed it was a mistake, is your version attached the same way? I took the scissors to the elastic and have now reattached in the lower external pocket.
