Lith - (Tim Rudman)
      #622772 - 06/03/2008 14:40

some of you may have his book or just heard of him, I got his book a while ago and have ever since been hooked on lith photographs and trying to get a lookalike from digital and PS.
I had the pleasure of meeting Tim Rudman the other night and quizzed him about digital, he solely works in the darkroom but had no doubt that digital can replicate and replicate very convincingly, he knows at least one person who was a film user and developer who now uses digital and is very impressed with her prints.

I have been using the method from AP I think to a degree of success and a few have been asking me for the method but it's a huge amount to type out, and I'm not sure who this be directed at hence posting here, would it be at all possible for someone from AP to mail me or publish on the homepage the PDF of pages 060-061 December 8th?

You'll have to buy a back-issue, I expect.

Not even me.

I have tried that lith technique and got some interesting results. Of course, you can always rewrite it with examples of your own and PDF it.

What's the purpose of having it? Obviously it seems that the intended purpose isn't worth putting any effort into. You shouldn't be copying the article word for word anyway. Just take the gist of what is there, put your own words around it with a few screen grabs of dialogs and an example image you've worked and job done!
