Kodak Brownie Model 1
      #608566 - 09/02/2008 18:26

My daughter has just bought one of these in excellent condition from a charity shop. Although it uses 620 film, can it be used with 120? I know that the two filns are the same width, but what about the spools and frame spacing?

Thanks Jack

And she wouldn't be able to have a K20 - If I could afford one I'd have that and give her the K10!! (after all she's a D70s user at the moment)

Yes if you're prepared to fiddle around respooling the film onto a 620 cartridge. I've tried it but without great success. I've got three brownies in the attic which will definitely get an outing this spring but your best bet might be to hunt on the internet for 620 film

Decided that I'm not going to [****] around transferring film from one spool to another, and then back again as we'd have to send the film off for developing and I don't trust a lab to return the 620 spool.
Bought a Balda folder on Ebay to use as a medium-format camera and the Brownie stays as an ornament.
