Polarising Filters

There was a recent post in the Nikon forum which got me thinking - could AP run a test on the current range of polarising filters, as there seems to be many different types around (I don't mean linear or circular), most of which now bear the tag 'digital' - and a corresponding increase in price....

Is there a detectable difference in filter performance? Do you in fact, get what you pay for?

I'd like to know as some of these filters cost quite a bit!

Bit too late for me now. Just ordered some cheapo ones on 7dayshop. And there's loads of stuff on ebay. Do I want to know? Nah!
