Casio S770 doesn't commnuicate with PC
      #604195 - 31/01/2008 10:27

Hi, I've installed photoloader 3 but the PC (windows XP) doesn't read the photos on the camera via the USB cable. It finds what it thinks is an external drive 'j' and then can't find any pictures.

No problem with the macbook.

Any help much appreciated. Thanks

Frankly I'd buy a card reader and use that...

Folks seem to have endless trouble accessing their pictures through the camera. With a card reader you just stick the card in the reader and PC treats it as just another direct access drive. I've yet to have any problems with a reader while accessing via the camera is always a hassle...

Casio Z850 does commnuicate with PC [Re: jopling]

My Casio Z850 is seen as a removable drive, so I use Explore to view, copy, delete etc - no problem

I have not installed any Casio software btw.
